THE CURE
"PORNOGRAPHY"
Fiction
1982

Bien, hoy toca The Cure.

*****

Well, today it's The Cure. After a complete discography of classics and some of the scariest songs ever created, many people only know as a group of her biggest hits like 'Inbetween Days "or" High. "While these are amazing pop songs in their own right will never have the power and horror of 'Pornography'.
Launched in the early 80's, this has often been regarded as the definitive Cure album. As an album that revolutionized rock music, and became a great source of inspiration for the future of music and gothic emo bands. The album was made during a fairly complicated for the Cure, and that drugs had settled in their lives, and success had begun to bite. The album begins with "One Hundred Years". It's one of my favorite songs on the album, and mix the correct dose of pure evil. Works as a first introduction to what follows the album. The second song, "A Short Term Effect" is a topic somewhat experimental, uses a lot of different effects that flow well. The echo of the voice of Robert Smith is a stroke of genius, making it look even more desperate. Here's memorable "The Hanging Garden". The drums sound like drums of war, and the rifles are the bass and guitar through a huge sense of despair. Everything seems so small, but it's the little details that make great songs.Next is "Siamese Twins" is how very unusual, the drums sound pessimistic, and oriental guitar. While not one of the main themes of the album, after that, is "The Figurehead". It has one of the darkest bass lines throughout the album and the song goes back into the dark and gloomy note. The guitar is excellent, showing songwriting ability Robert Smith, and drums sound even doliendote. The guitar in the final climax with an evil power, as if the whole band was possessed by the devil.
Next is "A Strange Day" with Robert Smith displaying his excellent lyrical ability again. The guitar riff playing in my mind as the day I die. Then comes "Cold" with bass and drums that sound very strong, with a keyboard, which itself sounds like the entrance to the gates of hell.
The album ends with "Pornography" album of the same title, and is possibly the darkest and most unusual album. It begins with some strange voices that seem to be drawn from the language of the Exorcist movie itself, gives real terror! for probably the best song on the album.
If the Devil hears music, surely this is one of his favorite records. There you have it!.
