Si, soy fan de Pearl Jam y el Ten fue unos de los primeros álbumes que realmente hablaron dentro de mí con 16 o 17 años, fue el primer álbum que me mostró que cierta música estaba hecha "para mí ", y que ciertas bandas y álbumes podian ser identificados en mi vida, y como veia la vida entonces a relación con mis amigos, el colegio, etc... Ahora todo a cambiado, pero todavia tengo un hambre insaciable por la música nueva en muchos géneros diferentes y aunque a veces me desvio completamente de mis inicios y raices siempre acabo volviendo a lo que realmente mas me proporciona como amante de ella. Todos estos años a través de mis experimentos y cambios en el gusto, sin embargo, he contratado un amor eterno hacia Pearl Jam. He seguido su carrera de forma obsesiva, a través de la cima de su popularidad (Ten, Vs, Vitalogy), de su etapa experimental (No Code) , y su carrera posterior (Yield , Binaural en adelante).
Esto no quiere decir que no pueda ser objetivo, el sutil cambio en la composición de sus canciones en su estilo siempre me han sacudido un poco y algunos álbumes tienen esos problemas, al menos eso he creido durante mucho tiempo pero he llegado al punto que comprendo esa evolución que llevan desde hace mas de una decada. Ellos ya no volveran a romper un estilo, ni volveran a sacar algo tan impactante como hicieron atras, pero mientras sigan sonando a Pearl Jam nunca será malo. Al fin de cuentas lo que me han ofrecido a lo largo de esta vida es mucho mas de lo que yo les voy a poder ofrecer jamas. Es verdad que ya no erizan el vello como tantas veces hacian, pero si lo siguen haciendo de vez en cuando como en este álbum ya les estaré agradecido. Eternamente agradecido.
Ahora voy a intentar tratar de evaluar objetivamente el nuevo álbum  Lightning Bolt .El nuevo disco inicia en su forma habitual que acostumbra hacer Pearl Jam, con una salvaje apertura de Rock agresivo, la primera de ellas es  "Getaway" y  realmente funciona. Es rápida, agresiva y melódica, con un interesante conjunto de letras en materia de libertad. La siguiente canción y el primer single ' Mind Your Manners es menos exitosa a mi gusto. A pesar de desplegar un excelente coro y temas líricos sociales, lo que podría ser destilada como: " Estamos escuchando todo lo que haces, pero el caso de filtrar cualquier información y ayudarte te vamos a crucificar, así que cuida tus modales". Musicalmente, la canción es una reminiscencia de "Spin The Black Circle", pero , mientras que la canción busca y logra una estética de punk auténtica, le falta el alma de su predecesora del Vitalogy. Esta tratada con demasiada dureza y poca delicadeza. La tercera en el trío de apertura del álbum "My Father' S Son" es una melodía vocal de un verso que revela un excelente coro con Vedder que escupe letras sobre la maldición del ADN de uno, y la posibilidad posteriormente superarlo. A continuación, la estructura inusual de la canción le da frescura a pesar de su progresión de acordes de McReady en lugar aletargarla en coros. Me parece una cancion un tanto extraña pero resultona.
Hasta ahora el álbum realmente se abre en una variedad de estilos y direcciones interesantes. Es también el punto en el que tenemos que discutir sí de la cuestión , la épica power ballad  "Sirens". Pearl Jam no son ajenos a ejecutar baladas (Black, Nothingman, Come Back , etc), pero "Sirens" parecen haber dividido algunos fans como en ningún otro disco. Tal vez su letra tan sentimental y la melodía tan inmediatamente accesible son un paso demasiado lejos para los más grunges. Pero soy de los que piensa que si el arte te atrapa será cuando las secuencias del corazón manden sobre tí y es mucho mas emocionante cuando tu reaccion sobre eso sea algo natural. Personalmente, a pesar de reaccionar inicialmente con extrañeza , ha ido creciendo en mí inmensamente, y es cierto, que he ido suavizado mi resistencia al sentimentalismo con el paso de los años, pero me parece una progresión en esta vida que llevo, y si, creo que también hay mucho que uno pueda sentirse abrumado por la forma en la que vivimos nuestras vidas, la vida es cruel y todo puede ir mal en un instante. Tal vez sólo estoy demasiado identificando con las letras que siempre hicieron Pearl Jam de corte pesimista. Además de todo esto la voz de Vedder se encuentra en excelente forma, un ambiente cálido, espesa, y acojedora. De todos modos, estoy divagando, pero "Sirens" es un temazo!. "Pendulum" es mas atmosférica (un experimento de meditación que resulta un éxito rotundo), el pantanoso blues rock de Stone Gossard invade todas las partes. Me recuerda a canciones como ' Given To Fly " y me refiero a que tiene como objetivo ser una epopeya raspando el cielo, pero se queda corta debido al esfuerzo que supone. El trío final "Sleeping By Myself" "Yellow Moon" y "Future Days" son muy bonitas y resaltan y se intercalan entre ellas de una forma muy sentimental, son baladas positivas basadas en la acústica. "Future Days', a pesar que me decepcionó en su debut en vivo, es otra pieza a efectuar del sentimentalismo al amor de una familia. Son excelentes temas que redondean el final de lo que es esencialmente un álbum que  trata el aprecio de lo que tienes.En conclusión a muchos no les gusta el "ablandamiento" de Vedder y compañía. Yo diría que es envejecer con gracia. Después de todo, ¿quién quiere ver a un de tio de 50 años gritando acerca de su angustia y depresión? Yo no. Me parece sensato que hagan lo que siempre han hecho y permanezcan fieles a sí mismos y a lo que están experimentando en sus vidas Pearl Jam. Han producido otro álbum honesto, atractivo y sorprendentemente optimista. La mejor forma de escucharlo es que lo sientas.

They break and not return to a style, or will return to take something as shocking as they did back , but while still sounding like Pearl Jam never be bad. Ultimately what I have offered throughout this life is much more than what I 'll ever be able to offer . It is true that longer hair bristling as many times they made , but if they still do from time to time as in this album and I will be grateful. Eternally grateful.Now I will try to try to assess objectively the new album Lightning Bolt. 's New album begins in his usual manner customary to Pearl Jam , with an aggressive wild Rock opening , the first is "Getaway" and it really works . It's fast, aggressive and melodic , with an interesting set of letters in freedom . The next song and the first single " Mind Your Manners is less successful to my liking. Despite displaying an excellent choir and social lyrical themes , which could be distilled as: "We are listening to everything you do, but the case of filter any information and help we will crucify you , so watch your manners." Musically , the song is reminiscent of "Spin The Black Circle" , but , while the song seeks and achieves an authentic punk aesthetic , it lacks the soul of his predecessor 's Vitalogy . This treated too harshly and little finesse . The third in the trio of opening the album " My Father ' S Son" is a vocal melody for a verse that reveals a great chorus that Vedder spits lyrics about the curse of the DNA of one, and the ability to overcome later . Personally , despite initially reacted with surprise , has been grown on me immensely , and it's true , I have been softened my resistance to sentimentality over the years, but I think a progression in this life I lead , and if , think too much you can become overwhelmed by the way we live our lives , life is cruel and everything can go wrong in an instant. Maybe I'm just too identified with the letters were always pessimistic cut Pearl Jam . Besides all this Vedder 's voice is in excellent shape, a warm , thick, and welcoming . Anyway, I digress , but "Sirens" is a great song ! . "Pendulum " is more atmospheric ( an experiment of meditation is a success ) , the swampy blues rock of Stone Gossard invades all parties. It reminds me of songs like " Given To Fly" and I mean that is intended to be an epic scraping the sky , but it falls short because of the effort involved . The final trio "Sleeping By Myself " "Yellow Moon" and "Future Days " are very nice and emphasized and are sandwiched between them in a very sentimental ballads positive are based on acoustics. " Future Days' , although I was disappointed in their live debut , is another piece to make the sentimentality love of a family . They are excellent songs that round the end of what is essentially an album that is an appreciation of what tienes.En conclusion many do not like the " softening " of Vedder and company. I would say that is aging gracefully . After all, who wants to see a guy of 50 years of screaming about your anxiety and depression ? I do not . It seems sensible to do what they have always done and remain true to themselves and what they are experiencing in their lives Pearl Jam. They have produced another album honest, attractive and surprisingly optimistic. The best way to listen is to be.
